Frequently Asked Questions

What's different about how XWEALTH works with investors?

Investment decisions are made in the context of your full picture — tax situation, estate plan, liquidity needs, and concentrated holdings. That coordination is the point of a multi-family office. It doesn't make us better than every alternative, but it does make us a different fit than a portfolio-only advisor.

Do you have an account minimum?

We don't publish a hard minimum. We evaluate fit based on whether our integrated services are likely to add meaningful value for your situation. An initial consultation is confidential and there's no obligation to engage afterward.

How do you approach portfolio construction?

We look at liquidity needs, tax situation, concentration risk, estate goals, and any access to private markets — then build around that. We don't run one model for every client. Allocations reflect individual circumstances and are reviewed on an ongoing basis.

What kinds of private market investments do your clients access?

Qualified accredited investors may have access to private equity, private credit, venture capital, real estate, and digital asset strategies, subject to suitability and availability. Private investments involve illiquidity, limited transparency, and risk of loss. We evaluate opportunities through our due diligence process before they are considered for any client.

How do you handle concentrated stock positions?

Concentrated positions — from company equity, an inheritance, or founder ownership — can require specialized planning. Tools discussed in industry practice include exchange funds, options-based overlays, charitable remainder trusts, direct indexing, and staged liquidation. Which tool fits, if any, depends on your specific facts, cost basis, and tax situation.

Are you a fiduciary?

Yes. XWEALTH is a California-registered investment adviser and owes a fiduciary duty to its advisory clients.
